A CLEMENT

Adolphe Clement in France started making Motor-Cycle in 1897
I believe he had a moment "I want a motor!!" when he riding bicycle to go up hill,then created these cycle with motor, it's only my guess.
I saw this beautiful Clement at Banbury Run and I was following for a while,When it came to up hill the rider still had to pedal really hard to go up,,,But it was amazing to see these motor-cycle on the road.

フランスのアドルフクレメントがモーターサイクルを造り始めたのが1897年、
きっと自転車で坂道を登りながら"モーターが欲しい!!"なんて思ったに違いない、それでこの車両を造り上げたのだろうと勝手に思ってみたりする。
この車両をバンバリーランと云うイベントで見かけしばらく後に着いて行ってみたのですが、登り坂にさしかかるとライダーは物凄い勢いでペダリングして登って行きました。。しかしながらこういった車両が実際走っているのを見れたのは感激でした。
